Job Profile Summary Perform administration activities including monitoring, alerting, managing ITIL-based service management practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery. Knowledge of database technology, backup and restore, security and access management, database maintenance. Understanding of Azure cloud operations. Career Level Summary List·       Understanding of the IT ticketing process, including identification, classification, prioritization, investigation, resolution, and closure·       Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical teams, users, and stakeholders. ·       Ability to remain calm and focused while managing critical incidents and meeting deadlines. ·       Contributing to ongoing process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. ·       Knowledge of Database and Middleware technologies·       Exposure to Azure Cloud fundamentals. Key Responsibilities List·       Create, maintain, and use Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).·       Ability to work in 24X7 rotational shifts·       Implement structured handovers between shifts to preserve continuity. ·       Engage, Consult and Deliver based on interactive customer communications·       Perform day to day operations like Backup and restore, Access management, Patching etc.·       Plan and execute Database software upgrades, patches, and service packs·       Database installation, configuration, operation and management·       Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategy and scenarios.·       Monitor, Serve and Engage on requests related to Database & Middleware (DB&MW) services. ·       Understand and categorize requests into provisioning, migration, and cutover activities. ·       Engage with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and provide regular status updates to regional stakeholders. ·       Track metrics such as ticket response time, child ticket resolution time, and SLA adherence. ·       Report monthly performance summaries to stakeholders.   Skills List Recommended·       Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise communication with stakeholders and team members. ·       Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).·       Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating systems, as database systems often run on these platforms.·       Familiarity with common middleware technologies (e.g., Tomcat, IBM MQ, Kafka)·       Understanding of ITIL frameworks including Change management, problem management, Incident management, Project management etc·       Working effectively with teams and other stakeholders to resolve incidents.·       Analysing data and information to understand the scope and impact of tickets.·       Being able to handle unexpected situations and adjust to changing circumstances. ·       Determining the urgency and impact of tickets to prioritize them effectively. ·       Staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.  Good To Have·       Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash to automate tasks and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.·       ITIL certification·       Any cloud certification
