ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Product Manager – Advancion 5 and Gen 6 is responsible for the overall success of Fluence’s strategy for maintaining the capability of the Advancion 5 and Gen 6 products that have completed development and are deployed to project sites. This role requires cross functional management of the needs and requirements across the three regions: Americas, APAC and EMEA. As the Product Manager – Advancion 5 and Gen 6 you will:
•Ownership: Own Fluence’s Advancion 5 and Gen 6 product offerings to include identification and evaluation of ideas from a business and technical feasibility standpoint with cross-functional support from Fluence’s Growth team, Regional Service and Technology teams, as well as development of commercial offerings.
•Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Advancion 5 and Gen 6 Products, addressing the unique needs of the Fluence’s different regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) and other customers. Drive initiatives to improve project availability and expand the product portfolio.
•Market Analysis: Conduct market research by working with teams worldwide to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable product enhancements that span all markets.
•Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and commissioning, to communicate product changes and ensure successful implementation. Support the regional and services teams by supporting upgrades and improvements.
•Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle for new features, in field and factory changes from conception through development to end-of-life strategies, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and updates.
•Communication: Responsible for communicating the strategy, roadmap, and value propositions of Fluence’s after-market capabilities to both external and internal stakeholder.
•Regulatory Compliance: Work with the compliance team to ensure that all product modifications comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, maintaining our commitment to safety and sustainability.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
•The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique needs of deployed products and the teams that support them as well as an understanding of how the needs of these products can be converted into customer fulfillment opportunities.
•3+ years of experience and a BS in a technical field such as engineering. Most critical is an educational and work history background demonstrating competencies in analytical thinking encompassing both technical and commercial strategy.
•Possesses strong interpersonal communications skills to coordinate with diverse internal and external teams worldwide.
•Takes individual initiative and works with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player.
•Works dynamically, across multiple teams and projects concurrently, in a technical business environment.
•Possesses an entrepreneurial drive for getting things done and a “whatever it takes” attitude.
•Experience in workflow tools such as JIRA.
•Experience in and knowledge of Agile development methods.
•Experience working with Supply Chain and procurement teams.
•Ability to utilize data and statistical analyses to inform decisions.
•Periodic time zone flexibility to support customers and colleagues across the world
