If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a Payments Reconciliation Analyst II (Permanent Work from home) to join our team in Manila. 

In this role, you’ll handle reconciling accounts and making sure all payments—whether debit, credit, cash, or other methods—are accurate and up to date. You’ll also dig into data to spot any inconsistencies across third-party reports and internal systems, keeping things on track with daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations. The ideal candidate for this role excels in analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines, and approaches challenges with a positive, energetic, and proactive mindset.

What you’ll be doing:

• Handle processor and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate data consumption by internal systems and providing regular status updates.
• Review and suggest improvements to reconciliation policies and procedures for greater efficiency.
• Work with stakeholders to implement automation and reduce manual effort in reconciliation tasks.
• Analyze accounts to identify potential risks and address discrepancies.
• Create and maintain detailed reconciliation reports for sub-merchants, consolidating updates and statuses.
• Document and clarify discrepancies, reviewing system changes to understand their impact on reconciliation processes.
• Assist in developing new or ad-hoc reconciliation procedures and money movement templates.
• Investigate root causes of reconciliation issues and collaborate with payment system support teams to resolve them.
• Take part in team discussions to track progress and ensure issues are resolved effectively.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Previous experience with financial reconciliation, ideally within the financial sector.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and writing SQL queries.
• A natural curiosity to dive into and understand money movement processes.

Our hiring process is very straightforward. You’ll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
