Position Overview
As a Product Designer at Vonage, you will be responsible for crafting user-centered designs that help solve real business and user challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive and delightful experiences across multiple platforms. You will work on a variety of design projects, from concept to execution, ensuring designs meet both user needs and business goals.
What you will do:
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and create design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Participate in user research and use feedback to improve designs.
- Help develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented well.
- Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to improve user experiences.
What you will bring:
- 2-4 years of product design experience with a solid portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma or similar.
- Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
- Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
- Ability to work well with product managers, developers, and other designers.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Desired:
- Experience with mobile and web design, especially in cloud communications, SaaS, or enterprise products.
- Experience in contact center solutions and customer-facing apps.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
AI knowledge and an understanding of how AI can enhance user experience and product design.
