About the Role

We're seeking a talented and driven mid-level Arabic Copywriter to join our Brand team in Saudi. This person will be responsible for crafting clever copy, transcreating, proofreading, conceptualizing campaigns, and creating memorable content for Careem across various online and offline touchpoints.

What you'll do
  • Serve as the brand guardian for Careem in KSA, ensuring consistency and integrity across all touchpoints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Careem's tone of voice, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and relevance across all content and copy.
  • Collaborate closely with creative leadership to craft compelling copy & content that aligns with the brand and responds to the marketing briefs.
  • Write both long- and short-form content across various channels, including in-app assets, digital platforms, social media, CRM, and more.
  • Ideate, develop, and execute impactful campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread content.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to implement best content practices and enhance the overall customer experience from a brand perspective.
  • Work within tight deadlines and respond promptly to feedback.
  • Monitor competitors and stay up-to-date with market trends.
 
What you'll need

 

  • Min 3 years of relevant experience as an Arabic Copywriter or Content Writer.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, with a strong command of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and the KSA dialect. Fluency in English is a plus.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for turning consumer insights into creative content.
  • Ability to develop and execute multi-channel content copies.
  • Independent, proactive and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication guru, who’s up to date with latest trends/events in KSA.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Team player with a hunger to grow.
  • Keen to work in a fast paced environment.
