Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the QA team to deliver high-quality software through effective test strategies, test planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing and automation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Ensure the automation framework is scalable and adaptable to future project needs.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
- Manage the execution of test cycles, report defects, and ensure thorough documentation of test results.
- Provide timely and insightful feedback to development teams on quality issues and risks.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitor and manage the effectiveness of test environments and automation frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years overall, with at least 5+ years in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (BDD, Spring boot)and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Appium(Android/ios), RestAssured).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with performance testing using JMeter.
- Familiarity with AIOps (hands-on experience is a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of observability and containerization technologies (e.g., Grafana, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Git and Linux commands.
- Understanding of relevant industry regulations (e.g., FDA, SOC 2).
- Debugging skills using tools like Charles Proxy and Android Studio.
