Product Manager, Compliance Products and Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  
• 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing/launching products/technologies within Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
• Experience creating strategic product vision and roadmaps.
• Experience with either: large software systems or Cloud platforms, and understanding of the enterprise market and sales motions, and working in the regulatory or compliance related space.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, developer and administrator experience on clouds.
  
• Good understanding of how applications are deployed and configured in the cloud.

The Regulated Cloud team builds the Compliance Control and Products that help enterprise customers achieve security, privacy and compliance of their infrastructure, workloads and data on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The team is building new product experiences for compliance configuration, monitoring and audits, and solving some of the most interesting and complicated security and compliance problems in Cloud.

• Evaluate the privacy and compliance market space from a residency and sovereignty lens.
• Perform competitive analysis of the major cloud players’ sovereignty, data residency and compliance stance, positioning and features, and gap analysis for GCP.
• Define customer requirements, create the PRDs, and build products that meet customer needs.
• Present product and platform security and compliance information to regulators, government officials, and senior enterprise leaders.
• Engage in customer meetings, provide roadmaps, assist sales and sales engineering.
