Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, related fields or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in sales, with 3 years of experience in people management.
  • 3 years of experience in China export business, including in B2B and Lead Generation industries.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to manage the client relationships in this market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Affiliate, Traffic Generation, SaaS or AI, or industry manufacturing businesses, with an established network in those industries (e.g. customers and ecosystem partners) and experience driving sales growth and reaching business generation goals.
  • Experience managing and influencing C-level customers and growing these relationships.
  • Experience in people management and working with key stakeholders in multiple countries.
  • Ability to quickly learn new industry knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

As a Sales Lead, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the Sales leadership team to set strategic goals and drive operations for the business. Additionally, you will help teams partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You will train and motivate a large team, taking an analytical approach to sales management.

In this role, you will lead the Mid-Market Sales team for China, responsible for managing medium-sized business exporters, especially with the Lead Generation business model (e.g., traditional B2B industries, Travel, Finance, Software/SaaS, etc.). You'll be responsible for both driving business growth and people development.

  • Lead the Sales team to build a very scalable and systematic approach to engage with our SMB customers who are distributed in different cities across China.
  • Coach the Sales team to further develop their skills in line with Google Way of Selling framework.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to acquire strategic high-potential customers and accelerate their business growth to the next level.
  • Motivate the Sales team with a strong and clear SMB value proposition, vision, and strategy, and show how the Mid-Market sales team can do things differently to not only improve operational efficiency but also further evolve this Sales program to have bigger impact.
  • Interview and hire the best candidates for Google.
