Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience designing UIs for enterprise products.
  • Experience with cloud operational use cases, application operation, data, networking, security, and troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the user experience for AI assistance across a broad range of use cases and different UIs. The team will be responsible for implementation of the Gemini experience within Google Cloud that focuses on embedding assistance in Cloud workflows, as well as core machine learning model serving infrastructure, APIs, administrative controls, policy compliance, data storage and governance, billing, and more.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive the design and roadmap for the primary UIs for Gemini Cloud Assist, including conversational assistance and integrations with third-party interfaces.
  • Deliver key initiatives that enable collaborative, interactive and AI-centric experiences in Cloud Console.
  • Work with engineering teams to build generative AI technology to power experiences and to research more advanced applications. 
  • Work with Google Cloud customers to help them apply AI technology to design applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Collaborate across many teams in Google Cloud to apply AI technology to use cases that span multiple services.
