We are now seeking a Program Manager to join our Content and Commerce team in Japan. The Content and Commerce team leads a multi-disciplinary content and revenue strategy that delivers profitable growth for Amazon Music Japan. Our content remit includes Music programming, Livestream and Artist Marketing. Our commerce remit includes Sponsorships, Merch and key cost saving initiatives.
This Program Manager role brings together execution, process management, and business skills to deliver a best in class experience for our consumer customers (music fans) as well as industry customers (artists and labels). You will have hands on responsibility in our music curation directly impacting Amazon customers. You will also own an important artist marketing program end to end. Key job responsibilities
- Own and manage the Out-of-Home Artist Marketing program in partnership with the industry team and brand marketing team
- Drive catalog quality improvement through Project Ariana and Project Phoenix
- Lead industry operations streamlining and automation, including Maestro adoption
- Maintain visibility and communication with WW stakeholders on assigned cross-functional projects- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese- Good knowledge of Japanese music genres (J-pop, J-Rock, Anime) and artists
