Your Role:

Tenable is looking for a Business Analyst to join our internal Business Technology team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding business needs and translating them into effective Business Technology solutions with a focus on Salesforce. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and ensure that our Business Technology platforms are leveraged to their fullest potential to enhance business processes and internal and external user experience. This role is key to enabling both stakeholders and technical teams with proactive expert guidance.

Your Opportunity:

  • Gather and document business challenges and requirements from stakeholders.

  • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement,ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.

  • Lead cross-functional projects and drive Salesforce enhancements.

  • Create process maps, and workflows to support the technical design.

  • Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria to guide development and ensure business needs are met.

  • Write detailed test cases mapped to business requirements to support system testing, UAT, and validation of Salesforce solutions.

  • Coordinate testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize Salesforce adoption.

  • Stay updated on Salesforce innovations,features and best practices to advise stakeholders effectively.

  • Assist with tracking outcomes and KPIs to measure the success of the project or enhancement.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with Salesforce.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionalities, capabilities and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures and integrations

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment in which the requirements are not always well defined and priorities change frequently.

  • Strong attention to detail and proficient in documenting/mapping business processes, user stories and stakeholder management.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Not hesitant to ask “why”.

And ideally:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst).

  • B2B industry experience.

  • Mulesoft and NetSuite experience.

  • Familiarity with Clari’s platform and Clari Studio.

  • Good working knowledge of Tableau.

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $113,000$151,000 USD
