As a Sr. Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving service adoption, usage growth and market penetration in Software & Internet accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both account management and technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan, acquire and develop new accounts, and consistently deliver on quarterly business goals.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
