Role Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Budget & Procurement Analyst to support our marketing team in effectively managing budgets and procurement processes. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, marketing budget management, and vendor procurement. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketers, finance, and procurement teams to ensure accurate forecasting, streamlined purchasing, and compliance with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Financial Management

  • Manage and track the global marketing budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Support regular budget reviews, providing analysis and insights.
  • Partner with finance to assist in tracking marketing spend and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee marketing invoice approvals and expense tracking to ensure on-track spending and accurate reporting.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between marketing and procurement teams to ensure smooth vendor onboarding and contract negotiations.
  • Facilitate the purchase process, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Partner with legal and finance to review vendor contracts, payment terms, and budget impact.
  • Maintain a marketing vendor database, tracking key contract terms, renewal dates, and spend commitments.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Develop and implement best practices for budget tracking, approvals, and procurement workflows.
  • Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities in marketing spend.
  • Build reports and dashboards in Google Sheets, Looker, or financial planning tools to provide visibility into budget status and spend trends.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual planning cycles by gathering and analyzing marketing investment data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing finance, procurement, or marketing operations.
  • Strong understanding of budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting in a marketing context.
  • Experience with procurement processes and vendor contracts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools; familiarity with marketing tools like Salesforce and Marketo a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, marketing, and procurement teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Familiarity with budget management software (e.g., Anaplan, Coupa, Netsuite, Bill.com or similar tools).
  • Exposure to marketing technology stacks and vendor ecosystems.

What Do We Offer?

Interesting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters. This is NOT your boring, routine, cushy, rest-and-vest corporate job. This is the “challenge yourself” role where you learn something new every day, never stop growing, and have fun while you’re doing it.

Tribe Vibe | We are more than colleagues, we are a tribe. We have a strict “no a**hole policy” and enforce it diligently. This means we spend time together - with spontaneous office happy hours, organized outings, and community volunteer opportunities. We are a diverse and distributed team, but we like to stay connected.

Bragging Rights | We are dreamers and dream makers. Our efforts pay off and we work with the most prestigious brands, from big-name retailers to airlines, to professional sports teams. Your contribution will make an impact with many of the most recognizable names in almost every industry including AirFrance KLM, ASICS, Burberry, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Walmart, and many more!

One Team One Dream | This is one of our values, and it shows. We don’t believe in artificial hierarchies. If you’re part of the tribe, you have an opportunity to contribute. Your voice will be heard and you will also receive regular updates about the business and its performance. Which, btw, is through the roof, so it’s a great time to be joining…
