About the Role
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join our team and lead key initiatives that improve customer experience and drive revenue growth. In this role, you’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, managing projects like SEO optimization, A/B testing, traffic flow analysis, and digital seasonal event planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams across creative, IT, retail, and product design. Responsibilities
- Support strategic ecommerce programs with organization, and process improvement.
- Manage dependencies to peer groups of Creative, IT, and similar to improve efficiency.
- Own key individual tasks such as SEO measurement and seasonal event management.
- Measure and optimize performance on key pages identifying CRO opportunities.
- Manage 3P vendors and service providers priorities, progress, and budgeting.
- Analyze ecommerce funnel to determine key areas of influence and CX improvement.
- Represent ecommerce in content creation strategy and omnichannel planning of CX.
- Prepare marketing campaign briefs with clear objectives, goals, and stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams to enable learnings across retail, creative, merchandising and fulfillment to understand campaign impacts, contingencies, and alignment with company goals.
- Own postmortem summaries to document and share learnings post campaign deployments.
- Discover and test emerging ecommerce technology to determine fit within existing strategy.
- Perform competitor and parallel peer DTC assessments to ensure continuation of best practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in ecommerce.
- 2+ years as a people leader with direct reports
- Clear career progression taking on greater responsibility at ad agency or digitally native brand.
- Professional level competency with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Figma. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Shopify Plus and experience managing product data in a PIM (Product Information Management) system.
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience using GA4, Shopify reporting, and other tools to evaluate KPIs.
- Deep experience in Google Analytics, SEMRush, or similar digital monitoring tools.
- A strong sense of the Shinola brand, with a passion for high-quality, luxury goods.
- Strong project management skills and documentation of details.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with marketing fundamentals of audience measurement, segmentation, and targeting.
