WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Business Analyst within the Finance Operations team, you will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support business decision-making and operational improvements. You will work with cross-functional teams to address customer billing issues, streamline data processes, and contribute to financial forecasting and reporting. This role involves leveraging your analytical skills to interpret trends, identify areas of improvement, and support data-driven decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Collection & Management: Gather data from systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and other financial platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Process Optimization: Streamline data collection methods to establish automated and user-friendly routines.
• Database Development: Design and maintain databases, addressing errors and monitoring performance for optimal efficiency.
• Billing System Support: Assist with system migrations and ensure accurate billing processes.
• Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends and patterns, presenting findings in a clear, actionable format.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations to organizational leadership.
• Visualization & Insights: Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Tableau to enhance decision-making.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers, programmers, and other team members to identify and implement data-related improvements.
• Financial Support: Conduct financial analysis to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, countifs, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and analytical tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Analytical Expertise: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, with a knack for synthesizing information and distilling key takeaways.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure and dynamic situations, identifying and resolving challenges.
• Adaptability: A flexible mindset to navigate fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.
