About the Position
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee our interior commercial projects as we acquire, renovate, and build out our offices around the world. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, some already in progress and some still in the idea phase.
From an engineering perspective, our goal is to design and deliver highly reliable facilities, trading floors, and offices for our firm. Every site project must consider the features and systems that are essential for Jane Street to function, like connectivity and resilience.
There are a lot of moving pieces to this creative effort. You will help us develop and implement our vision, while also keeping us on schedule and on budget. Responsibilities will include:
- All aspects of project management, including defining goals, making budgets and timelines, tracking milestones, managing risk, procuring materials, and quality control
- Contributing to all phases of the build-out project, including space planning, design, phasing and sequencing, managing and supervising site work, occupancy, and closeout
- Taking the initiative to provide status updates to the larger team
- Managing external vendor, contractor, and landlord relationships
- Working closely with other Jane Street teams including Facilities, Networking, Security/ Physical Security, Audio Visual, IT, and Office Administration
You will be joining an exciting interdisciplinary group with a range of expertise—from architects and engineers to project and cost managers—who design, build, and operate our spaces worldwide. We scrutinize every detail to optimize our offices and facilities, and we often look beyond convention to find new ways to help our colleagues do their best work. After all, we are not just consulting on the space, we’re living in it too.
