As a Senior Software Development Engineer you'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build cloud software for Ring's consumer electronics products. - A number of years experience working on production systems,
- Valuable experience working with OO design/ principles,
- Must have experience working with scalable system architectures, ideally cloud-based,
- Experience in a variety of modern programming languages (Java, Golang and/or Python) and open-source technologies- Masterβs degree in Computer Science or related field, with a solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals
- Tenured experience with hands-on software development
- Deep understanding of software development in a team and a track record of shipping quality software on time,
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs,
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and remote teams, both technical and non-technical,
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
