🚀Job Overview:
As an Architect for Groupon's Merchant Center, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture that powers the platform used by merchants to manage their Groupon campaigns. Your primary focus will be on creating scalable, secure, and user-friendly systems that allow merchants to easily access tools for managing campaign, analytics, and customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture supports business goals while providing a seamless experience for merchants.
💪🏼Key Responsibilities:
You will lead the design and implementation of systems within the Merchant Center organization
With a deep understanding of our Merchant Center product, you will focus on solutions that come from better architecture, not just better code
You will drive initiatives across engineering teams with a focus on increasing platform performance and stability
You will work closely with other engineers within your group and across the product and engineering organization to identify problems and build effective technical solutions
Mentor junior team members and encourage your peers to do the best possible work
Advocate for and improve upon our tech culture principles
📖We’re excited about you if you have:
At least 12+ years experience in software development, experience building great Merchant facing products
Excellent coding skills in one or more languages: Node/Express JS, React. js, Java
Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP desired
Development experience with service-oriented architectures/microservices
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively through an agile development process that promotes constant team communication
