Policy Communications Manager, EMEA

We are looking for a communications expert to work on public affairs campaigns and policy communications issues across the region. The successful candidate will work across a range of business critical areas, coordinating closely with a range of internal stakeholders to build and execute communication campaigns that advance our policy goals and/or mitigate risks, particularly around Meta’s AI products. They will also be responsible for managing reactive issues that may affect our reputation, working closely with country communications teams across the region to respond to high profile media inbounds, and will support local leadership with strategic communications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing and executing high-profile communications campaigns tailored to a policy audience, as well as managing reputational risk. They will have a natural campaign mindset with experience delivering long-term proactive communication campaigns that cut through and deliver measurable results via tactics that stretch beyond earned media. They should have strong communication skills, a good balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, and the capacity to juggle multiple simultaneous projects and ruthlessly prioritise. This role would particularly suit a calm and positive candidate who is comfortable with ambiguity and can ruthlessly prioritise across high-profile and fast-moving workstreams while factoring in views from a wide range of internal stakeholders.
