Location: Strong preference for this candidate to be on Site in Mountain View, CA at least 3 days a week. 

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our rapidly growing company. This role reports directly to the Head of Operations and Total Rewards. You will be responsible for helping to analyze and administer employee compensation programs and plans to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This position requires a strong analytical mind, attention to detail, responsiveness, a good understanding of compensation practices and principles and a willingness to learn.

We are a highly collaborative People Team where everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and help each other out wherever and whenever necessary. Your seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data
  • Audit, maintain, enhance and refresh compensation databases and systems
  • Support day to day ad hoc analytical data analysis
  • Work with data to develop compensation models in order to derive useful compensation insights that will drive our decision making
  • Partner with recruiters to create fair and competitive compensation decisions and offers
  • Partner with the People Operations and Systems team to configure and administer compensation systems, including Workday for compensation planning
  • Help with the implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs
  • Assist with development of total compensation communications, including training, compensation statements, videos and other material
  • Support the administration of the Company’s compensation cycles
  • Support the annual compensation review process, including market adjustments, merit increases, and bonus payouts. Develop tools and resources to support managers in making informed compensation decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze compliance requirements for compensation laws and regulations across all global locations
  • Develop sophisticated compensation models, tools, and dashboards using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization).

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis desired but not required
  • Experience with compensation tools and software
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • High degree of flexibility, extremely organized, detail oriented and responsive
  • Experience with Workday a plus

 

Base Compensation Range:

$130,000 - $170,000

*Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans. 
Ultimately, in determining pay, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, the role’s scope and complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise, and other factors.
