The European Marketing Finance team has an opening for an experienced, highly analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst.
We’re looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking person to join our Europe -wide team. In this key role, you will be the financial analyst for EU Prime and Marketing Financial Planning and Analysis, ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, providing your business partners with actionable insights, performing forecasts and building strategic plans. Your role will involve close collaboration with various EU and US based marketing, business and finance teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to your designated marketing area, by collaborating with the business on analysis and insight generation to support decision making
- Lead regular business reviews (weekly, monthly and quarterly) and deep dive into performance drivers where necessary
- Build accurate forecasts, lead business and strategic plans for your area
- Regularly interact with Directors and senior leadership to explain the performance of the business and to suggest areas of improvement
- Develop ad-hoc business analysis and strategies, and present recommendations to senior management- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
