DevOps Engineer

We are building from the ground up our solutions for our Security SaaS Foundation. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on strategic projects and help to reshape authentication solutions. You are responsible for designing, building the Cloud Native services and solutions using the latest best practices and technologies and participating in providing an extensible ecosystem allowing OneSpan to enable new business models and new opportunities to grow its business. You will communicate and collaborate with other software engineers, product architects, security specialists, and other stakeholders to contribute to product evolution, and acquire new knowledge and skills. We would expect you to have a passion for cloud computing, open-source technologies, and enjoy contributing to our solutions. 

This position is open to candidates who have their residence in Belgium. This role is hybrid (Brussels office is where you would go to +/- 2 days/week).

You Will: 

• Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms, from planned architectures 

• Implement Continuous Delivery solutions and help automate various stages of the deployment and testing processes 

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different technology stacks or container orchestration platforms 

• Perform Container Management and Orchestration 

You Will Have: 

• BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered 

• Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) 

• 4+ years of professional experience as an Engineer to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the cloud computing market, enterprise and open-source technologies 

• Virtualization and good knowledge of Linux 

• Experience with tools like Maven/Gradle/NPMs, Jenkins and Gitlab CI 

• Infrastructure Provisioning experience and Continuous Delivery experience using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, CF Engine, Spacewalk 

• Containers experience – Docker, Kubernetes, EKS 

• Cloud Experience – Knowledge of cloud operations tasks in regard to scalability, deployments and zero-downtime upgrades 

• General cloud ops knowledge with at least one provider, private or public, such as attached volume lifecycle, auto scaling, cloud-config, security, instance lifecycle, etc. 

• Troubleshooting large cloud infrastructure.
