What you will contribute:

  • Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring the inclusion of proper documentation
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigating transactions when needed
  • Collect and analyze data and other information accurately and effectively
  • Assist in producing and distributing of financial memos, documenting key considerations and conclusions based on relevant accounting standards
  • Provide assistance in financial statement review
  • Assist in tying out SEC Form 10-Q financial records for various periods
  • Perform additional duties and provide additional support as directed by manager

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a rising junior/senior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program OR a student enrolled in a masters degree program in accounting or related discipline
  • Have a 3.0+ GPA (preferred)
  • Have an interest in accounting, strong organizational skills, and will be detail oriented
  • Be a fast learner and are interested in learning how to maintain documentation and perform a variety of financial recording processes
  • Possess the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with various details and competing deadlines
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

This is a hybrid internship based in the Raleigh, NC office.
