Job Summary

Responsible for managing and configuring Atlassian Jira and related tools (Confluence, Bitbucket) to support team workflows. Tasks include user management, customizing workflows, creating dashboards/reports, ensuring system performance, and providing technical support. Collaborates with teams to optimize tool usage and troubleshoot issues, ensuring alignment with project needs and best practices.

 

What you will do

  • Administer and configure Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Opsgenie, Jira Service Desk) to meet team and organizational needs.
  • Manage and evaluate Atlassian add-ons, ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance Jira workflows, custom fields, and other configurations.
  • Develop, test, and implement integrations between Atlassian products and internal applications.
  • Perform Jira "hygiene" tasks, including cleaning up outdated projects, fields, workflows, and duplicates.
  • Train employees and new hires on Jira best practices, new features, and how to effectively use Confluence.
  • Stay current on new developments in Jira and Confluence, researching and implementing ways to improve usage.
  • Address and resolve issues in Jira Projects and Confluence, working closely with other teams, and Atlassian Premier Support when necessary.

 

What you will have

  • 3+ years of experience administering Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Opsgenie, Jira Service Desk).
  • Proficient in Jira Query Language (JQL) for advanced search and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
  • Familiar with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience in extending Atlassian tools through custom development or scripting is a plus.
