Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our global Accounting Team. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on detail oriented self-starter with experience with establishing/streamlining accounting processes and has strong communication skills.

This role is fully remote based in the US with a strong need/preference towards Central Time Zone and will work with teams across geographies as we grow (Especially, South Asia and LatAm).

Responsibilities

Oversee and support contractor payouts, treasury, tax, cost of revenue, and consolidations functions.
Support the close process and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support creation of new entities outside of the US.
Coordinate and lead external audits, and prepare audit schedules as needed.
Actively work with cross functional team members to streamline and improve the process.
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, HR, and legal teams.
Mentor and assign responsibilities to direct reports.
Implement process improvements to support SOX compliance.
Ad hoc project work as needed.

Skills/Qualifications Required

8+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related fields with 3+ years experience managing direct reports in accounting
Experience with accounting ERP systems - NetSuite (a must)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility
