Analyst Relations Manager

Okta is looking for a dynamic Analyst Relations Manager to help drive our engagement strategy with leading industry analysts. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key analyst firms, managing briefings and inquiries, and ensuring Okta’s vision and differentiation are well-represented in key industry research.

As a strategic communicator and relationship builder, you will collaborate closely with our product marketing, product management, and executive teams to shape our analyst relations program. Your work will directly influence Okta’s market perception, competitive positioning, and analyst evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Okta’s analyst relations strategy to drive positive analyst engagement and market influence.
• Build and nurture relationships with key analysts from firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and others.
• Manage and coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and responses to research reports.
• Own key analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave) from end to end, working cross-functionally to ensure compelling submissions.
• Track, summarize, and report on analyst insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Partner with product marketing, product management, and communications teams to deliver a consistent and impactful analyst narrative.
• Drive measurement and reporting of AR impact, including competitive intelligence from analyst research.
• Identify opportunities for Okta to influence analyst research agendas and shape industry conversations.
• Manage our external AR agency to help scale and drive efficiencies 

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analyst relations, communications, product marketing, or a related field, preferably in B2B enterprise technology.
• Strong understanding of industry analyst firms, their research methodologies, and how to effectively engage with them.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, strategic narratives.
• Experience managing analyst evaluations and research submissions.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with identity, security, or cloud technologies is a plus.
