Leasing/ Procurement Specialist - DCO

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our Data Center Operations team. This role will be pivotal in managing our hardware leasing program while collaborating with vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality solutions designed by our architects and engineers. You'll ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery to meet project deadlines. Additionally, you'll leverage data analysis to optimize costs and drive savings across categories such as Software, Hardware, Internet Transit, and Data Center Power/Space. For hardware purchases, you’ll coordinate with our Global Finance team to manage orders with leasing partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Negotiate favorable contracts and pricing for:
  • Data Center Expansions
  • Data Center Migrations
  • Hardware & Software
• Source the highest-quality solutions with the best delivery, service, and pricing.
• Manage import solutions and resolve clearance issues as they arise.
• Log approved orders for financing into lease vendor portals.
• Audit lease schedules and ensure accurate hardware install locations.
• Facilitate requests for the movement of leased hardware.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3+ years of experience in a technology sourcing role.
• Proven track record in quoting hardware, software, and data center facilities.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels of management.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and lead effectively in challenging situations.
