The Senior Solution Engineer will be an integral part of the entire sales cycle helping to achieve technical wins and to drive the adoption of our solutions and products. You will get a chance to be a key member of the Sales organization, responsible for the design and architecture of Acronis platform solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position will not only possess the skills and experience required but will also a positive attitude and ability to solve complex problems and work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, have worked with cloud & security technologies or vendors, consulted, or conducted solution sales, and be passionate about understanding new technologies in the cloud computing and security space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with sales teams and business partners to articulate solutions for service providers, partners, and end customers.
  • Participate as an Acronis technology expert in meetings, conduct demos, and pitch products throughout the sales cycle.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to coordinate activities for selling Acronis solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements, market strategies, and policies relating to data protection.
  • Manage strategic accounts collaborating with Acronis Account Managers to influence and develop sales strategies.
  • Facilitate customer evaluations and proof of concept activities for Acronis solutions.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and secure technical wins during the pre-sales process.
  • Position solutions that address customer business problems and act as a technical advisor.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer of Acronis solutions to customers and partners.
  • Gather technical requirements, develop cost-effective solutions, and present them to prospects.
  • Develop responses to RFIs & RFPs.
  • Assist in integrating MSPs RMM platforms with the Acronis Platform and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Understand complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and other Acronis teams.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • At Least 5 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage solution design experiences
  • Security experience in one or more of the following areas:
       - Antivirus / Ransomware Protection
       - EDR/MDR/XDR
       - Email Security
       - Network Security
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Linux or other operating systems beneficial)
  • The ability to articulate technical and business value propositions
  • Experience in customer and sales opportunity management practices
  • Must be a good listener, creative, intuitive, a team player, and have       the ability to resolve problems
  • A high level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Should be an articulate, persuasive, and polished oral and written communicator, able to discuss and negotiate around technical issues effectively
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel (including international)
