More than 300 million customers shop in Amazon’s store, and every day, customers browse, purchase, and review products sold by third-party sellers right alongside products sold by Amazon. Since 2000, Amazon has offered this digital shelf space to individuals and companies of all sizes, helping them reach hundreds of millions of customers, build their brands, and grow their business. Fast-forward to the present day, and these third-party seller products account for more than half of all units sold in our store. This is an exciting opportunity to create and innovate in Marketplace, one of the core pillars of Amazon.

The International Seller Services (ISS) Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager to support centralization and standardization efforts across our international counties and be the main finance partner for Haul expansion to International Stores.

Sellers are the life blood of our Marketplace business and new sellers make up a significant portion of both the active seller base and selection contribution. We rely on new Sellers to bring our customers more selection, lower pricing, and better experience. International Seller Services focuses on recruiting 3P sellers and helping them grow their business on Amazon, either through their own logistic networks or leveraging Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network. We place great focus on building a healthy Seller business which determines the future and potential of Amazon's 3P business.

As a member of this team, you will leverage analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive worldwide projects, engineer ad-hoc financial analyses, support business planning, and implement ideas for process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be comfortable with healthy respectful debate, and be skilled at earning trust across both finance and business teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Invent and simplify finance processes to efficiently ensure data integrity and insightful analysis
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in international countries and central teams to drive global standardization of metric and reporting definitions
- Manage and develop scalable financial tools that align and simplify monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes
- Sourcing, analyzing, and reporting quantitative data; perform ad-hoc analyses- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
