Outbound Marketing connects Amazon and its subsidiaries to household customers through email, push notifications, text messages, and WhatsApp. These marketing messages help grow customer relationships by extending their onsite journey offsite and driving awareness of Amazon's products and services.

In this role, you will build next generation products that generate automated personalized marketing messages using Gen-AI and other machine learning solutions. You will collaborate with talented software engineers, scientists, designers, and marketing specialists across the company to develop innovative marketing solutions that enhance customer experience, marketer productivity and drive business growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy : Create and communicate a compelling long-term vision for a product. Define the strategy for achieving the vision, including user stories, customer benefits, and alignment with organizational strengths.
- Product Roadmaps : Define a plan which optimizes the sequence of deliverables and timelines, making transparent tradeoffs as appropriate.
- Program Management : Plan, coordinate, and manage programs to achieve goals. Includes mitigating delivery risks, tracking progress, communicating and driving alignment among stakeholders and project teams, and delivering results.
- System Design : Develop functional and non-functional requirements by understanding and clarifying assumptions, needs, and system dependencies, taking into account tradeoffs in terms of scalability, maintainability, extensibility, performance, and security.
- Written Communication : Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely in writing to influence stakeholders.- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
