Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • 4 years of experience in publisher sales, content generation, policy creation, program management, business strategy, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with machine learning.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training materials and presentations.
  • Understanding of online advertising technologies, including programmatic advertising, ad serving, and header bidding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate regulatory information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fluid environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and a team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

As a Publisher Experience Specialist, you will represent the publishers within the Americas region, advocating their needs and delivering improvements to their overall experience. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing feedback, communicating updates, providing support to key partners, and representing the company at industry events.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Collect and analyze feedback from publishers within the assigned region on their experience with our products, policies, and processes. Communicate publisher feedback to relevant internal product, engineering, policy, and operations teams, and own the feedback loop to ensure timely action.
  • Educate internal stakeholders, providing updates on policy changes, advertiser preferences, and product updates. Develop and deliver training materials and communications to educate publishers on new features, policy updates, best practices, and advertiser requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, partner events, and workshops within the region, building relationships and promoting our commitment to publisher success.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges impacting publisher experience within the region and work collaboratively with internal teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies. You will be required to travel within the assigned region as needed.
