We are looking for a high-energy, experienced auditor to execute and deliver high quality financial audits and risk assessment activities within in the AWS Supply Chain. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Supply Chain Finance team supporting controllership initiatives across our business.
The AWS Supply Chain Finance organization is a global, fast paced, dynamic team, partnering with the business teams delivering AWS computing capacity. We look across AWS Supply Chain processes and contracts, evaluating risks that could harm our stakeholders, the company, or prevent us from achieving objectives. To do this, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will support AWS Supply Chain Finance’s contract compliance and review program; you will drive the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of audits based on risks across the AWS Supply Chain.
• Protecting Amazon’s assets by ensuring vendor compliance with finance controls and policies
• Analyzing and ensuring contract compliance by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
• Driving direct audit engagements, as well as managing engagements with third-party consultants
• Diving deep to identify root cause of control gaps, inefficiencies, and exceptions
• Identifying risks and developing and implementing enhancements to control processes
• Identifying issues and remediation processes to address the root cause of the problems
• Quickly becoming familiar with stakeholders’ business challenges and risks and acting as a trusted advisor to them while driving change across functional teams
• Working closely with AWS Supply Chain leads globally to develop business strategies and analytical insights for supporting AWS’s controllership goals
• Preparing reports on findings and recommendations on corrective measures, presenting to senior leaders, and using excellent writing skills to succinctly communicate complicated operational and technical issues in business terms.
• Working with stakeholders and relationship owners to remediate findings. - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Master's degree or equivalent
- Strong risk management and audit experience including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, and prioritizing risk
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize, summarize and communicate important data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
