We’re seeking a Principal Product Designer to join the Product Design team at Outschool. We are a marketplace that offers classes for K-12 learners enabling parents to educate their children in ways not offered or even possible in traditional public or private schools. Our team is seeking a player/coach Principal Designer with the passion for craft, deep understanding (and portfolio to back it up) of building world-class product experiences, and significant experience building design systems from the ground up. This will be the most senior IC role on the team reporting directly to the Head of Design, where you will craft experiences, drive the development of our design system and mentor other designers. Outschool recruits across the US and Canada, and sets employee salaries to reflect local compensation and cost of living. For New York and California candidates, as well as candidates based in Seattle, WA the salary range for this role would be $210,000-$247,500 USD.
For Washington candidates outside of Seattle, as well as Colorado candidates, the salary range for this role would be $189,000-222,750 USD.
