The Corporate Communications Manager will be a key contributor to our communications team, helping to influence our market position, brand awareness, and business growth through strategic narrative development and stakeholder communications. You will help drive global campaigns, work with our global agencies and serve as a strategic partner to translate product capabilities into compelling stories that captivate media and customers worldwide. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you'll play an essential role in advancing Asana's reputation as the leading platform for collaborative work management.

The Asana Marketing team is responsible for fueling business growth and building a brand customers love. Our global team focuses on corporate and product marketing, revenue marketing, brand and advertising, content and creative, and digital, operations, and lifecycle marketing.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on your type of work and the teams with which you partner.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Help build, plan and execute global communications campaigns that cover thought leadership, media relations, executive profiling, product briefings and corporate storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing peers to build integrated quarterly plans that amplify broader marketing objectives.
  • Help source and develop compelling stories, perspectives, data points, product differentiations and news angles that cut through the noisy AI and future of work space.
  • Support internal thought leaders and executives in building their external profiles through speaking engagements, bylined articles, and media opportunities.
  • Assist in managing global PR agency relationships, ensuring operational excellence and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee analysis and reporting for monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Own and drive our year round communications calendar to foster strong collaboration with internal peers and help us stay ahead of our next milestone.

About You:

  • 6-8 years of communications experience in-house, agency, or both
  • Eagerness to learn about product offerings and translate technical capabilities into stories for external audiences
  • Natural interest in the SaaS space, current AI trends, and enterprise business challenges
  • Familiarity with agency management processes, budgeting and reporting
  • Works well cross-functionally to effectively co-create marketing programs that help overachieve on goals
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into compelling messages
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $131,000 - $169,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
