The Operations Academy at Adyen is dedicated to supporting the professional and personal growth of our Operations workforce. We design and execute strategic growth enablement programs, aligning with the company’s vision to empower individuals, teams, and leaders through a blend of soft skills and applied hard skills training.

As an Operations Academy Team Lead, you will lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of learning programs aimed at onboarding and elevating talent effectively. You will oversee program performance metrics, leverage data-driven insights, and ensure a seamless learning experience for our Global Support function. In this leadership role, you will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to enhance learning strategies and scalability across our global operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and deliver the vision of the Academy through strategic planning, operational management and  leadership.
  • Strategize and manage comprehensive learning programs, leveraging operational expertise to drive engagement and effectiveness and lead a global team.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders from Learning & Development (L&D), Operations leadership, and other academies to align training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Evaluate organizational learning needs, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize program impact across operations.
  • Develop and Monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training and development programs
  • Implement and oversee scalable training methodologies, integrating in-person and digital learning solutions to enhance accessibility and participation.
  • Lead program performance analysis, conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments to measure learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key advisor on learning and development strategies within the Global Ops functions, ensuring alignment with business growth and operational excellence.

Who You Are

  • A collaborative leader, skilled at building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across global diverse teams.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in program management, learning & development, and team management —preferably in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Deep understanding of learning & development principles, including program design, facilitation, and training strategy execution.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience leveraging performance metrics to enhance learning programs.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to align diverse viewpoints and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Background in Operations or Support is a plus.
  • Willing to travel to our offices in different regions
