本ポジションは、倉庫管理システム（以下WMS)をはじめとする業務システムの中長期的なシステム改善、新規システムのプロジェクト、日々のトラブルシューティングを通じて、物流の生産性や品質の改善に取り組んで頂きます。
Amazon Japan is seeking a Program Manager to join our External Fulfillment Tech team within the Operations division.As Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company, Amazon Japan relentlessly pursues customer convenience, even amid rapid business growth. External Fulfillment (EF) processes and ships customer orders through logistics centers operated by manufacturers, wholesalers, and third-party logistics providers (3PL), rather than through Amazon's own Fulfillment Centers. Specializing in large, heavy, and temperature-controlled items, the EF service expands product selection while maintaining Amazon's signature fast delivery speeds. The EF team drives company growth by continuously optimizing operations and enhancing the customer shopping experience through this innovative fulfillment solution.
This position involves working on improving logistics productivity and quality through mid to long-term system improvements, new system projects, and daily troubleshooting of business systems, including Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Key job responsibilities
EF Techチームは、オペレーション部署に属しています。チーム内でシステム開発を進めるのではなく、社内のシステム開発部署への窓口として、オペレーション部署からのシステムに関するリクエストを開発チームに伝え、開発を進めるために交渉し開発を実現させます。
中長期のシステム改善、新規システムのプロジェクトでは、開発部署やオペレーション部署と調整しながら導入までのタスクを整理し、プロジェクトの進捗を管理して頂きます。プロジェクトを進める為には、ステークホルダー間のコンフリクトを解決するプロジェクトマネージメントスキルが求められます。
EFの各物流拠点から報告されるWMSのトラブルについて海外のシステム開発部署とコミュニケーションを取りながら問題解決に取り組んで頂きます。
それらの問題を解決する為には、商品の受発注から倉庫での入出庫オペレーションに関わる多岐にわたるシステムフローやロジックを理解する力が必要となります。
システムが日々変化する中で、他部署のシステムについて調べ、担当者に確認し、動作をテストしながら進めるといった、自走し学び続ける力が求められます。また、現場担当者から実態を把握する為に情報を収集し、その情報を海外の開発部署に伝えるコミュニケーション能力も必要になります。

The EF Tech team is part of the Operations organization. Rather than developing systems within the team, we serve as a liaison with internal system development teams. We communicate system-related requests from Operations, negotiate with development teams, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
In mid to long-term system improvements and new system projects, you will organize tasks leading up to implementation while coordinating with development and operations departments, and manage project progress. Project management skills to resolve conflicts between stakeholders are essential for advancing projects.
You will work on problem-solving for WMS issues reported from EF sites while maintaining communication with overseas system development departments. To resolve these issues, you need the ability to understand various system flows and logic involved in product ordering and warehouse operations, from receiving to shipping.
As systems continuously evolve, you must be self-driven and willing to learn continuously by investigating other departments' systems, confirming with respective personnel, and testing operations. Additionally, you need strong communication skills to gather information from on-site staff to understand actual conditions and effectively convey this information to overseas development departments.
