Director, Security

As the security site lead for India, you’ll be responsible for expanding the security organization in India to partner closely with the local teams in Research and Development (R&D) and the rest of the business. You will partner closely with the site lead for R&D and ensure we are providing ample coverage and direction to teams in India. 

In this role, you can expect to:

• Build and lead teams of high-performing security engineers developing solutions focused on all aspects of security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• Develop roadmaps, track progress, and evaluate team / functions performance
• Provide mentorship, support, and career development opportunities for team members and enable the team to scale
• Be a subject matter authority and have strategic influence
• Identify techniques and solutions to constantly improve and mature security capabilities to protect our company, products & services and customers data
• Assist CSO & other leadership to develop strategic plans and long-term roadmaps
• Partner with other engineering teams to address challenges related to security initiatives

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in software or security engineering, including 5+ years of proven hands-on technical management experience of security engineers and engineering managers
• Experience in application security, cloud security, threat detection, incident response or a related field
• Ability to prioritize and track multiple projects in parallel
• Experience building out high performing security teams
