Your Impact

As part of Axon's Talent Acquisition team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Finance (FP&A) and Accounting teams—key drivers of our CFO's organization. Your mission? To identify and recruit top-tier professionals who are not only highly skilled in strategic FP&A and accounting but also share Axon's passion for solving complex challenges and making a difference.

In this role, you’ll be more than a recruiter—you’ll be a strategic partner to hiring teams and a trusted guide to candidates. You’ll use data, insights, and creativity to find the right talent at the right time, ensuring an exceptional experience for everyone involved. What You'll Do 

Location: Hybrid with 2 days in-office at one of Axon's US hub sites (Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC)
Reports to: Director, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Operations

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process—from sourcing top talent to extending offers—delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to develop innovative recruiting strategies that not only meet immediate hiring needs but also build strong talent pipelines for the future.
  • Use data-driven insights to analyze pipeline trends, optimize recruitment strategies, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Regularly report on recruitment metrics, sharing actionable insights to enhance decision-making and evolve Talent Acquisition (TA) programs.
  • Continuously improve processes, champion creative sourcing ideas, and leverage cutting-edge tools to find diverse, high-performing talent.
  • Ensure every candidate interaction reflects our commitment to an exceptional experience, providing timely communication and thoughtful feedback throughout the process.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to deeply understand team objectives and translate them into effective talent strategies.
  • Identify and engage talent from specific industries or demographics, using creative and targeted approaches.
  • Exercise sound judgment and autonomy in guiding key deliverables, managing complex recruitment needs with precision.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting top talent for Finance and Accounting roles, with additional experience supporting P&L functions preferred.
  • Proficiency in Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other creative sourcing methods.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously, delivering exceptional results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal savvy with the confidence to provide thoughtful feedback, push back constructively, and influence stakeholders.
  • A passion for creating and implementing diversity-focused strategies, driving equitable hiring outcomes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a relentless focus on providing outstanding customer service.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the drive to continuously improve and innovate recruitment practices.

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 84,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 150,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 105,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 185,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
