Purpose of the Role :
The CFO's Strategic Execution Lead serves as a key enabler of the CFO's visionary goals, translating them into actionable outcomes across Myntra. This role is crucial in driving the realization of business objectives, ensuring sustained organizational success and market leadership.
Job Responsibilities :
- Strategic Execution: Act as the CFO’s strategic leader, ensuring that business goals are translated into actionable strategies. Drive the execution of these strategies across Myntra, Flipkart (wherever required) fostering synergy and alignment.
- Decision-Making Enablement: Empower the CFO with critical business insights by developing comprehensive data-driven frameworks that enhance decision-making. Ensure real-time access to key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Project Management: Drive and track progress of CFO projects, enablement, governance, and unblock initiatives. Manage senior management requests and work with stakeholders to prepare CFO presentations and reviews. Closely partner with leads/ spirit group/ core working teams to create plans, coordinate execution & unblock key initiatives, while aligning strategic direction with the SLT
- Long-Term Planning: Lead the long-term strategic planning process from the CFO’s office, ensuring all plans are in sync with the organization’s vision and market dynamics. Collaborate with FP&A to lead and integrate strategic choices and execution strategy across the org.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Build trust and serve as a strategic partner across various teams (Tech, MFB, marketing, Cat and Rev, New business etc). Ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of projects. Manage the CFO office, drive alignment across teams in line with the CFO’s decisions, Bridge between CFO & Controllership/Shared Services/Tax/Audit/Legal.
- Communication & Org Connect: Ensure CFO priorities are cascaded & aligned with teams; coordinate flawless execution of initiatives.
- Employee Engagement & Motivation: Strengthen relationships with all employees to boost efficiency; provide guidance and motivation to teams on core strategic issues.
- Special Projects: Lead CFO’s special projects centrally across the organization
- Board Preparedness: Spearhead preparations for critical board meetings, ensuring all materials are comprehensive and strategically aligned.
Job Profile Requirements :
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience working with a varied set of cross-functional stakeholders.
- 2+ years in a P&L lead, business or executive management role.
Leadership Track Record:
- Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
- Strong track record of driving business transformation and strategic initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (story telling) with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with high autonomy and accountability.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Suite.
- Presentation skills (PPT making).
- Language Proficiency: English fluency.
