Position Overview:
As the Director of Business Unit Finance (BU) - BCDR, you will play a key role in supporting one of Kaseya’s largest and most strategic business units, directly partnering with the General Manager to drive financial performance and long-term strategic planning. This position is central to ensuring the business unit’s financial health while placing a strong focus on business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR). You will report to the VP of Product Finance and work closely with cross-functional leaders, including IT, Operations, and General Management.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the General Manager of the business unit to provide financial insights, strategic planning, and business decision support.
•    Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR): Lead financial planning and risk analysis efforts related to business continuity, ensuring the unit is prepared for disruptions and can maintain operational resilience.
•    Budgeting and Forecasting: Own the financial planning process for the business unit, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning.
•    Performance Reporting: Generate and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, KPI monitoring, scenario analysis, and stress tests, with a focus on the business unit's operational continuity.
•    Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize financial performance by analyzing costs related to BCDR efforts, including infrastructure, risk mitigation, and recovery planning.
•    Capital Planning: Ensure effective use of capital for business unit growth initiatives, focusing on investments that enhance continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other functional leaders, including IT, Operations, and Engineering, to align financial strategies with operational needs and BCDR priorities.
•    Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support decision-making related to risk management, business continuity plans, and capital expenditures.
Requirements:
•    Experience: 15+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related fields, with significant experience supporting a business unit.
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business-related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
•    Business Partnering: Proven ability to partner with general managers or senior operational leaders to drive business results.
•    Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams.
•    Data-driven: Analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights, especially in the context of risk management and BCDR planning.
•    Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities and challenges.
