A Better Opportunity
We are seeking a Securities and Corporate Transactions attorney to support Better’s General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Financial Officer and other senior executives relating to SEC reporting requirements, capital markets and corporate finance transactions. The attorney will work closely with the company’s Accounting and Treasury departments and with other business units as needed. The attorney must have extensive knowledge and experience with U.S. securities law matters, including public company periodic reporting requirements and be able to handle routine capital market transactions with minimal outside counsel assistance. In addition, the attorney will work with outside counsel on more complex transactions, provide legal support for other corporate finance matters, such as credit agreements and derivative agreements, and assist with corporate governance matters. The attorney will work closely with our deputy general counsel of litigation and corporate transactions, and report to the General Counsel/CCO. The attorney chosen for this role will serve as a key leader within a Legal & Compliance team that is critical to ensuring our success during a pivotal stage of our company’s development.
