About the role
As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Dashlane’s systems and ensuring that our secure development lifecycle remains cutting-edge. Collaborating across all departments, you will advocate for and implement best-in-class security practices, helping millions of Dashlane users enjoy a safer digital life.
Location
You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. Please ensure to attach any documents (resume's or cover letters) in English during your application process. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international) for individuals who are already legally eligible to work in the European Union.
At Dashlane you will
Drive the continuous improvement and implementation of Dashlane’s security program across our product and company.
Enhance application security processes and tooling to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Innovate and propose new security features that protect Dashlane and our users.
Advocate for security through internal training, blog posts, and presentations at conferences.
Manage and prioritize the product security bug backlog.
Participate in and refine the security incident response process.
Conduct research and development to explore new security ideas, tools, and techniques.
Challenge and inspire the team with forward-thinking security initiatives.
We're looking for:
Experience in vulnerability research and investigation.
Strong scripting and development skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes clusters).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their security implications.
Strong interest in cryptography and its application in modern systems.
Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for secure application development.
