We are seeking a strategic, technically skilled, and data-driven Senior Product Manager with a focus on Billing and Monetization to join our growing Product Management team at Fleetio. In this critical role, you'll own and enhance Fleetio's backend billing infrastructure, ensuring it can scale with our growth, while driving monetization experimentation to optimize revenue and customer value.
This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Accounting, and Finance teams to develop scalable, automated billing solutions that support our evolving business needs. You’ll also lead efforts to design and execute pricing, packaging, and discounting experiments to uncover new monetization opportunities.

Who you are
As the owner of Fleetio’s billing systems and monetization strategy, you’ll ensure our infrastructure supports our financial goals while remaining efficient and reliable. Your work will directly impact Fleetio’s bottom line, enabling seamless financial operations and unlocking new revenue streams.
Reporting to the Director of Product, you will need strong leadership, analytical, technical, and communication skills to succeed.
Your impact
- Own and evolve Fleetio’s backend billing infrastructure to support scalable growth and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure billing processes are accurate, automated, and scalable, aligning with internal financial systems and reporting needs.
- Develop and execute monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, and discounting experiments to optimize revenue and customer value.
- Collaborate with Engineering to implement new billing features and streamline processes for scalability and reliability.
- Design and run experiments to validate new monetization opportunities, using data-driven insights to inform product and pricing decisions.
- Work cross-functionally to define success metrics for billing and monetization initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to measure and communicate impact.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies in billing and monetization to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Manage and prioritize a roadmap for billing infrastructure improvements and monetization experiments, aligning them with company objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams and advocating for operational and financial needs.
Your experience
- Minimum of 7 years of product management experience, ideally within SaaS or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing complex billing systems and driving monetization strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of subscription billing platforms, payment processors, and related technologies.
- Experience designing and executing monetization experiments, including A/B testing, to optimize pricing and packaging.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting systems, with experience collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams to align on billing processes.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with Engineering and Finance teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details into clear, actionable strategies for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Self-starter with a growth mindset, curiosity, and a passion for solving challenging problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
