The team:

The SOX & Internal Controls group is part of the Finance organization with primary responsibility to assess the design and effectiveness of the internal control over financial reporting (ICFR). The group assists in other control assessments, projects, and reviews to enhance the control environment of the Company. 

The role; 

As the Senior Internal Auditor - SOX & Internal Controls, you will be a member of a growing team and your focus will be on assessing operating effectiveness of financial reporting and operational controls.  The mission is to add value to the organization and enable management with meeting company objectives.

The work you’ll do:

  • Review risk and control frameworks for financial, operational, and other pertinent business areas.
  • Maintain ICFR Program including process narratives, flowcharts, walkthroughs, and testing plans.
  • Support execution of ICFR testing for financial reporting and operational controls, IPE , and service organization control report assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance organization and other corporate functions to obtain testing documentation, assess control effectiveness, and clearly articulate any control deficiencies.

The qualifications you need:

  • 3-5 years of SOX, financial audit, internal audit, or related internal controls required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related discipline(s) required.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley required.
  • Prior experience with a cloud-based ERP (Workday) and an internal controls management software (Workiva) preferable.
  • Job relevant certification a plus (e.g., CPA, CIA)
