Power BI Embedded Developer

We are looking for a Power BI Embedded Developer:

Main responsibilities:

• Designing interactive and scalable reporting features
• Building and enhancing the Power BI embedded experience within a product
• Embedding Power BI visuals into applications, portals, or websites
• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
• Setting up and managing Power BI Embedded capacities in Azure
• Connecting to various data sources including structured and semi-structured data such as: SQL, Azure, SAP HANA, Snowflake and Databricks
• Optimizing and troubleshooting Power BI Embedded analytics
• Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices, coding standards and security measure.

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of experience with Power BI.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in working with Embedded Power BI.
• Understanding business requirements, designing and developing advanced Power BI reports and dashboard and data analytics visualizations
• Proficiency in Power BI Embedded development, including advanced reports and dashboards
• Strong understanding of data modeling and interactive data visualization concepts
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
• Familiarity with data lake / data hub / data warehouse concepts
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Power BI certifications are a plus
• Experience with other data visualization tools or programming languages is a plus
• Hybrid position in Monterrey / Other locations remote or relocation support to Monterrey
• English advanced
