The Governance, Operations, & Security Services Team is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Executive Assistant to join our growing global organization and provide dedicated support to a VP. We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings creative problem-solving skills, and is passionate about supporting our team's growth and success.

You'll be an integral part of our fast-paced team, entrusted with significant responsibilities that have a real impact on our success. Your ability to prioritize effectively, think on your feet, and maintain accuracy under pressure will be key to excelling in this role.

You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including management of a fast-changing and complex executive calendar, managing large-scale events, and tracking key deliverables. You’ll also have access to extremely confidential information, and will be trusted with information regarding data privacy. You will build a deep and trusting, long-term partnership with the leaders of Governance, Operations, & Security Services. You will also successfully partner with teams across the company, operate independently, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.

Key job responsibilities
• Expertly manage complex executive calendars across multiple time zones.
• Anticipate potential conflicts or sensitivities and address them proactively.
• Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential matters and communications.
• Craft detailed, efficient travel itineraries that optimize time and productivity.
• Conceptualize and execute a diverse range of team events, from social gatherings to large-scale staff meeting agendas, global team meetings, and off-sites.
• Track and drive completion of key deliverables with a keen focus on deadlines.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for direct reports, providing support and guidance, and maintaining a harmonious and efficient working relationship within the leadership team.
• Craft clear, concise, and compelling documents, adhering to Amazon's writing standards and best practices.
• Embody and champion Amazon's Leadership Principles in all aspects of your work.
• Have fun at work and help others do the same.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
