Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Experience in manipulating datasets using SQL, R, Python or other programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical fields or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 2 years of experience within machine learning.
- Experience in solving machine learning or artificial intelligence challenges involving data analytics and statistics.
- Ability to take initiative and separately make trade-offs in a highly ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional groups.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Contribute to and execute programs under Geo Data Operations (GDO) Machine Intelligence strategy in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
- Identify processes, infrastructure, and tooling requirements to scale machine learning and data services.
- Run data pipeline Sustainment and AI Operations programs within GDO, contributing to engineering projects from conception to implementation.
- Build scalable and intelligent solutions to produce large volumes of high quality data that form the center of Google Maps’ consumer and enterprise user needs.
