Impact In This Role

The Director of Account Based Marketing will accelerate Fictiv’s growth through different styles of targeted, account-based marketing, driving incremental revenue and new user acquisition for the company. This role is responsible for Fictiv’s ABM from strategy to execution and collaborates closely with sales to develop and analyze segment research to inform learnings and future strategies. It will prioritize and deploy the proper ABM tactics to the target market to maximize ROI. The role owns the end-to-end marketing for the identified segments and will work directly with the rest of the marketing team to develop a marketing plan and generate relevant content. The role will also be responsible for tracking and reporting out of its marketing efforts across the broader team and to upper management. 

You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and deploy multi-channel outbound and ABM campaigns including crafting strategy, aligning internal teams, and project managing execution. Lead regular campaign planning sessions and represent the Marketing team, collaborating with Sales on targeted outbound campaign initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on and build key account lists within our ICP (ideal customer profile)
  • In partnership with sales and growth marketing, deliver on quality and quantity of opportunities, keeping a close eye on win rate, AOV, and pipeline attainment
  • Forecast and manage ABM campaign ad spending; have an efficiency mindset and the ability to pivot, test, pause, or double down
  • Perform in-depth research and analysis to drive ABM strategies and identify the most effective marketing materials, channels, and messaging for key accounts
  • Provide ongoing reporting, campaign insights, and pacing toward goals to stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines to ensure outbound assets and enablement tools are finalized and aligned with launch objectives
  • Support communication across sales and marketing teams, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of outbound efforts
  • Own and optimize intent data tools and sources. Monitor, optimize, and project manage the prospecting dashboards to ensure SLAs are met, create a feedback loop with key stakeholders, and execute updates in a timely manner
  • Report and monitor success metrics for the outbound marketing channel and identify critical improvement opportunities
  • Maintain a library of snippets and templates for sales outbound prospecting
  • Travel: Ability to travel 0 - 10%  annually in the U.S. for team meetings, off-sites, trade shows, conferences, etc.
  • All employees are expected to maintain and contribute to the QMS

Desired Traits

  • 5+ years of B2B ABM marketing experience
  • Business degree preferred
  • CRM/Marketing automation background, preferably Salesforce, Marketo
  • Strong collaboration capabilities to partner with stakeholders and teams across the organization (marketing, sales, lifecycle, and product) to build high-impact outcomes
  • Experience with 1:Many, 1:Few, and 1:1 types of ABM marketing
  • Experience in the manufacturing space is a plus
  • Have a great track record of building high level strategies and executing them
  • Solid understanding of A/B testing and has experience executing them
  • Experience building insightful and actionable dashboards and reports
  • Great track record of building high level strategies and executing them
  • Data oriented and a creative, strategic, and critical thinker
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong project management abilities and able to hit deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Thrives in a fast paced start-up environment, and is comfortable with ambiguity

Salary Range: 

Base: $137,000 to $180,000 per year, depending upon experience
Variable: $10,000 to $40,000 per year, depending upon experience
