The Amazon Advertising Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) team is seeking an experienced Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tool administrator for advancing our use of Xactly Incent and its product features to the benefit of the Amazon Advertising Sales organization. This involves ongoing configuration and maintenance of Xactly Incent, transformation of new business requirements into technical ICM solutions, and close collaboration with other teams for consistent and optimal system performance. Ultimately, we aim to deliver accurate and timely sales compensation payouts through a great sales employee experience using our ICM tool.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an exceptionally analytical and detailed oriented thinker who excels in system development, and process improvements. They will demonstrate teamwork, relationship building while thriving in a fast-paced dynamic environment that has a considerable amount of ambiguity. They will have deep experience with incentive compensation management tools. They must be able to juggle competing projects and work across multiple teams / stakeholders to solve complex problems.
Key job responsibilities
• System Administration: Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Xactly Incent. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement and maintain data integrations with other systems.
• Incentive Compensation Management: Configure and maintain compensation plans, including plan structures, lookup tables, calculation rules, and reporting assets. Ensure system readiness for accurate and timely commission calculations and payouts. Support resolution of compensation inquiries and disputes.
• Data Management: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data within Xactly Incent. Implement measures to identify and address data discrepancies. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and compensation data.
• User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to sales teams and other stakeholders on using Xactly Incent. Respond to technical user inquiries and resolve issues.
• Project Management: Participate in the planning, build, and implementation of new compensation programs and system upgrades including managing UAT. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations.

Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) at Amazon Advertising plays a critical role driving the sales employee experience and creating earning opportunity as a pay for performance program. The SIC team shapes the overall program by engaging Sales, Finance, and HR leadership in order to create the sales incentive plans that balance sales employee attraction, motivation, and retention with the achievement of company revenue and growth goals. The SIC team centrally manages all aspects related to sales incentives including Sales Incentive Plan Design, Quota Governance, Incentive Payout Operations, and Platform & Tooling.• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience with Xactly suite of products (Incent, Analytics, & Connect) carrying out technical responsibilities such as: rule writing, plan development, report creation, platform troubleshooting, and process improvement
• Experience assessing sales incentive plan implementation feasibility within Xactly
• Understanding of incentive compensation processes and best practices
• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Xactly University certifications
• Proficiency in data visualization, analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Advanced SQL, Python and ETL skills
• Experience working with Sales CRM (Salesforce)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,900/year in our highest geographic market.
