At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. The Amazon Data Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. (ADSIPL) Data Center Global Security Group is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Systems Project Manager to join our team. Your work will include supporting the construction and deployment of physical security packages for all ADSIPL data centers and co-locations in the cluster. After a successful application, you will contribute to the design, installation and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control/Intrusion Detection, CCTV Surveillance systems and Physical Infrastructure provisioning. You will also be supporting for preventative maintenance and repair of security systems equipment.
You will be required to work in all related disciplines, at all levels; from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of security technology, to be innovative, highly organized, and to have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
Key job responsibilities
Your ultimate success will be measured by how you assist with the development, implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. This is measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided, access control effectiveness, and the protection of our customer data, employees and visitors. You will be responsible for observing Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team, while enabling the local site managers to draw related services from the team, in a self-service manner.
This includes:
Excellent large-scale project and program management experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, data center expansions and special projects
• Lead physical multi-million-dollar security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
• Effective prioritization of tasks, and seamless operation across organizational boundaries
Execution and coordination of preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets and timelines.
• Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change management.
• Supporting security system equipment commissioning, Completing final Test, Acceptance and project hand-off
• Building and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems.

- # 05-08 years of experience working in Project Management of Construction, Physical security or MEP.
- # Formal full time BE/B-Tech in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Electrical/ Electronics and Instrumentation/Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent.
- # Experience in physical security program management for large, complex, installations
- # Advanced knowledge and experience in the Security Integrator Industry
- # Experience with AutoCAD /Revit/ BlueBeam or other design tools.
- # High ethical standards, with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
- # Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office products, with a special emphasis on Excel & PPT
- # Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- # Great collaborator , Stakeholder management and teamwork skills, results oriented, high energy, and self-motivated.
- # Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- # Have a proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.- # 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- # 3+ years of functional knowledge in working with design, installation, and integration of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
- # Training / experience in using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) / PMP / Prince2 or equivalent Certified
- # Certification in either Lenel S2 & Other equivalent Security Systems.
